Stephanie Lee, a native to Washington, began studies in piano at the age of six. She received her Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Washington, where she studied under Dainius Vaicekonis and Cristina Valdes. Since then, she has been teaching students of all ages and backgrounds both in her private studio and in studios around the Seattle area and the Eastside.

She believes that music is a language that can express facets of emotion and personality that other languages cannot. In order for a student to do so, it is important to develop the necessary tools with a good foundation in playing technique, sense of musicality, and theory early on. From there, she places great value in encouraging students to play music according to their individual interpretation. It is her philosophy that music can be an immensely satisfying discipline and a valuable tool for self-discovery.
